Privacy Policy

Effective 9 August 2026

FlyFirst is a US travel agency specialising in discounted business and first class flights. This policy explains what personal information we collect on flyfirst.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We are registered in accordance with California State regulations # 2099993-40, so California privacy law applies to us.

Information you give us

When you request a quote. Our booking form asks for your departure and destination airports, travel dates, number of travellers, cabin class, and your name, email address and phone number. We need this to price an itinerary and get back to you.

When you ask about a hotel or a corporate account. The same contact details, plus what you tell us about the trip or the company.

When you subscribe to our newsletter. Your email address only.

When you contact us. Whatever you choose to include in an email, chat message or phone call, including any follow-up correspondence about your trip.

We do not ask for passport numbers, dates of birth or payment card details through this website. If a booking proceeds, any such details are collected separately by our agents or by the airline, and are not stored by this website.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we receive technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and approximate location derived from your IP. Cookies and similar technologies collect information about how you use the site — see section 4.

Our website firewall. Traffic to this site passes through a security service (Sucuri) that filters malicious requests before they reach our server. It processes connection data such as your IP address for that purpose.

Session recording and heatmaps. We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our pages — for example which sections are read and where people get stuck. This may include recordings of mouse movement, clicks and scrolling on our own pages.

Airport search stays on our own server. When you type a city or airport into the booking form, the suggestions come from a list stored on our own server. Your search text is not sent to any third-party service.

How we use your information

  • To prepare and send you flight quotes, and to follow up about your request
  • To respond to your questions and provide customer service
  • To send you offers and travel content if you subscribed
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix technical problems
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it
  • To measure and improve our advertising
  • To meet our legal and record-keeping obligations

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies in four groups. You control three of them.

GroupWhat it does
Strictly necessarySecurity, network management, and remembering your cookie choices. Always on — the site cannot work without them.
Visitor preferencesRemembers small choices such as a recent search, so the site feels consistent.
AnalyticsAnonymous, aggregated statistics about how the site is used — via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
AdvertisingLets us and our partners show relevant flight offers and measure campaigns — Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising, among other advertising partners.

Your choices. A cookie notice appears on your first visit. You can accept everything, reject everything, or switch groups on and off individually, and change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in a cookie named ff_cookie_consent for 180 days on the device you used.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics and advertising cookies.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may stop working correctly if you block strictly necessary cookies.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as follows:

  • Airlines, consolidators and other travel suppliers — when it is needed to price, hold or issue the travel you asked us about.
  • Service providers who work for us — web hosting, website security, email delivery and similar vendors, who may only use the data to provide their service to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — Google (Analytics and Ads), Microsoft (Clarity and Advertising), and our other advertising partners, through the cookies described above, when you have allowed the relevant group.
  • When the law requires it — to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our terms, or protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of others.

Under California law, using advertising cookies to build a profile across sites can count as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can stop it at any time by turning off Advertising cookies in Cookie preferences, or by sending a GPC signal from your browser.

We do not knowingly share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use and share
  • Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — we will not refuse you service, charge a different price, or give you a lower quality of service

Residents of other US states with similar laws have comparable rights, and we handle those requests the same way.

How to exercise them

Email info@flyfirst.com or call 1 888 347 7817 with the words “privacy request” and tell us what you would like us to do. We will ask for enough information to confirm who you are — usually the email address and phone number you used to contact us — so that we do not disclose your information to someone else. We aim to respond within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.

The quickest way to stop advertising and analytics tracking needs no request at all: open Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page and switch those groups off.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal, tax and record-keeping obligations, and then delete or anonymise them. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie-based information has the lifetime described in section 4.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and sits behind a website firewall. We use administrative and technical measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will make that clear on the site.
